2004 silverado 1500 crew cab with dual climate control. This 2009 chevrolet silverado came in with the complaint that the a c was blowing out hot air on the driver s side of the dash the vent temperature was 140 f and the outside air temperature was 97 f in august in sunny south carolina. My 2005 chevy silverado 1500 is in good shape minus the driver s side vents. I even took the old actuator and put in a good spot and it worked so today i finally bit the bullet and took it to the dealer.

Hello all i m new to the forums but you guys have been a great help from the previous posts i ve looked up. I ve replaced the actuator and nothing happened. I have the same predicament. I bought an blend door actuator to replace the one that controls this function however even the new actuator will not function when the wires are connected.

My problem is that my truck blows hot air on the driver s side. Hot air continuously blows out of the vents even with the ac off.
